Amanda's wedding day was truly fun, filled with family and friends, and had some unique aspects that set the day apart.
The wedding day preparations began at The Bluestone with hair styling, makeup application, finishing touches to the wedding day decor and getting into their sweet blush dresses. The Bluestone is a really cool and unique venue featuring "cathedral ceilings, soulful acoustics you can only hear in a 115-year old church, and a staff who truly cares about delivering an amazing experience, the Bluestone is one Columbus event venue you simply shouldn’t miss." (source: http://www.liveatthebluestone.com/). The music and event venue is perfect for many different types of events and works beautifully for Columbus, Ohio weddings. It is greatly raved about in the wedding industry.
Amanda was absolutely stunning in her lightly tiered wedding dress that favored the themed blush color featured in the bridesmaid dresses. The bridesmaids each had a different dress, staying within the rosey tones of the wedding. Each of the dresses fit the girls beautifully.

Amanda, the bride, wished to have her hair pulled up into a full yet smooth, textured yet soft, modern yet romantic updo. The bridesmaids were each inspired by different hairstyles. Their textures and thickness helped to dictate the outcome of the styles. The styles ranged from all up to half up with stay-put-curls to all down with one side lightly pulled back.

While styling hair for the amazing bride, Amanda, and 3 of the 4 bridesmaids, the girls played Pokemon Go and ate Subway. It was fun to hear them call out every once in awhile, "there's a Goldeen" or they would alert everyone when a Pokemon would pop up. They would grab their phones and work to catch the Pokemon. Loved it! Being a Pokemon Go fan myself, I was secretly wanting to get my phone out and catch them as well. "Gotta Catch 'em All" right??!
From 12p-3p we worked hard to get everyone's hair placed perfectly. We were done in plenty of time. The wedding day styling included the bride Amanda, 3 of her 4 bridesmaids and her soon-to-be mother-in-law.
By the time I was out the door, Amanda was ready to get in her dress and the girls were already dressed. The photographer was buzzing around capturing the most perfect moments. There is no doubt the night went on with grace and a fairy tale like feel. I slipped out the back door and they were ready to go.
Amanda took the time to leave a sweet review:
"Reviewed On 8/18/2016 Amanda C
Shannon was great! She did my hair for my wedding, as well as 3 bridesmaids and one mother of the bride. She was very easy to get along with and was able to replicate the hairstyles in the photos we showed her. We all looked FABULOUS!"
Wishing Amanda and Evan a beautiful and amazing life together! It was a great honor to be a part of your wedding day.
